Using Jupyter-Notebook

Jupyter-Notebook allows to to create and share web pages with text, charts and Python code.

To start a Jupyter-Notebook session you run the following command in the terminal then press Enter:

jupyter-notebook

Imediatelly, a browser page is open that contains the folder from which the command is executed. At the same time the command starts a notebook server.

You can then select New / Python 3 to start a new notebook in Python 3.

The newly created notebook will be saved with extension .ipynb. You can also open other .ipynb files.
